What's the point of machine prototyping?

A prototype is a joint investment between each company. The prototype is the result of calculations, simulations and tests: based on the results, the project is feasible or not.

The prototype is the assurance of a successful project, and our ambition is to make your equipment an asset for your production line (in which the slightest doubt must be removed before any commitment).

Our experience proves that completed and successful prototypes have resulted in exceptional machines; robotized lines that are unique in the world, keeping you several steps ahead in productivity and commercial differentiation.

The stages of industrial machine prototyping

The SEMSO method:

  • Harvesting input data on the customer site
  • Brainstorming with our expert engineers and technicians
  • If necessary, solution research using the "Asit Resolution" method.
  • Pre-study of the architecture of the non-mastered part
  • Design of necessary elements from CAD, robotic programming and vision depending on type of prototyping
  • Testing with our equipment: robots, grippers, conveyors, cameras, 3D sensors...
  • For the hardware to be created we also have a complete workshop with lathe, milling machine, welding station in order to shape the elements that make up the prototype
  • Testing with material
  • Measurement of results obtained
  • Optimization of tests
  • Sharing data to decide on project continuity

Some points of our method are based on the experience of our team of engineers and technicians.

Project not defined or process not mastered?

In the case where the process is neither defined nor mastered, prototyping of the desired function is mandatory before any global project is launched.

We're looking to replace the human being in highly strenuous tasks and on fresh or sensitive products, which pushes back the limits of mastered functionalities.

Prototyping makes it possible to validate actions, kinematics, grips, deformations, while carrying out tests.

Many French and international companies are equipped with high-speed industrial machines where manpower is difficult to find and retain.
